Introducing Double the Charm, my newest pattern release! Double the charm came about because I had some gorgeous Kaffe Fassett charm packs in my stash and needed to use them! I love the simplicity of this pattern! The charm squares are set off by the white background, giving the quilt a clean, modern look.
Each block is made up of a charm square and two background pieces. The blocks are then turned in alternating directions to achieve the effect of the charm squares appearing diagonal to each other from different angles.
Double the Charm can be made with just two charm packs (a total of 72 charm squares are needed), plus background fabric. The finished quilt is 60" X 67.5", a very manageable size for beginners and those quilting on a domestic machine.
