For August, the Island Batik Ambassadors are participating in the Hot Stuff Challenge with Oliso. For this challenge, we were to "glitz-up" the carry bag we received with our Oliso M3 Pro iron. We could use any technique we wanted (quilting, embroidery, applique, etc.).I have to admit, this one had me stumped! I pondered what to do for quite awhile before I decided on applique. For inspiration, I pulled all the gorgeous fabrics I had received from Island Batik this year in my Ambassador boxes.

For June the Ambassadors were tasked with making a stuffed animal with a pattern from Funky Friends Factory. We could choose any pattern we wanted, and there are so many to choose from! I finally decided on the Patch Pussy Cat pattern, because, well you know...cats! Funky Friends Factory generously provided me with the pattern, so off I went in search of the perfect fabric for my stuffed cat!
