Introducing Chutes & Ladders, my latest pattern release! The sample quilt was made using the Feather Fantasy fabric collection from Island Batik by Lumin Fabrics and is featured in the Spring 2026 Island Batik catalog.
I love quilts that can be made with one pre-cut fabric package plus background fabric. This was my goal when designing this quilt - Chutes & Ladders can be made with one strip pack plus 3 1/2 yards background fabric. It finishes at 63" X 75", which is fairly large for a throw quilt.
Chutes & Ladders is the perfect pattern to show off those fabric strips! It goes together quickly and is a great pattern for beginners with minimal cutting if using a pre-cut strip pack.
