Introducing Sassy Squares, my latest pattern release! If you are looking for an easy quilt pattern than can be made in one weekend with minimal fabric cutting needed, Sassy Squares is the perfect pattern for you!
When I chose the fabric for this quilt sample, I was looking for fabric that would make a "statement"...stunning fabric that was interesting in itself and needed no elaborate design to make it stand out. These gorgeous prints from Kaffe Fassett fit the bill perfectly!
Sassy Squares can be made with just 3 charm packs and 2.5 yards of background fabric, even the sashing squares are made from the block's left over charm squares!
At 57" X 68", Sassy Squares is a versatile size, lending itself to being used as a lap quilt on those cold winter evenings or as a sofa throw to add color and interest to your home decor.
For all the reasons stated above, Sassy Squares is one of my top five favorite patterns! I'm loving the simplicity and versatility of the design as well as the potential for various color schemes (It would look gorgeous in Christmas fabrics, for example). I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do, I can't wait to see what you create!
